Dr. Peter Gray is a President of the Asia Pacific Alliance for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (APAQA-HE) and Member of the Board of Governance. He was responsible for coordinating and supporting a broad program of academic and institutional effectiveness assessment at the United States Naval Academy for 10 years (2002-2012). After retiring he was a Visiting Researcher (Gästforskare) in learning outcomes assessment at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg Sweden and from 2013 – 2015 was Learning Outcomes Assessment Consultant for a National STEM Consortium (NSC), U.S. Department of Labor (TAACCCT Grants Program). As a result of a Fulbright Specialist project in Vietnam (#4545, 2011-2012) he received an Outstanding Contribution Award from the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City for his support in implementing engineering education reform (CDIO). He has also been an external Program Evaluator for the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) implementation by Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City; Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering departments.
