Welcome to the Asia Pacific Alliance for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (APAQA-HE)!
The mission of the Alliance is to enhance higher education quality assurance policies and practices within the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in engineering, technology, science and business education.
In this time of increased globalization of higher education, it is crucial that high standards of quality are established and maintained regarding the programs offered by both national and international educational institutions. In this regard, APAQA-HE is committed to:
- Providing leadership and support in establishing, maintaining and improving higher education quality assurance;
- Facilitating research and publication into the practices of quality assurance and their effectiveness in improving the quality of higher education;
- Fostering collaborative links among higher education institutions, quality assurance agencies and discipline-related professional bodies; and
- Assisting APAQA-HE members in developing and maintaining quality standards for higher education institutions and programs operating within and across national borders.
